SIT1602BI-21-30E-14.000000E are high-precision oscillators for timing and synchronization applications with low jitter and low phase noise. Oscillator-14.000000E is designed for use in telecom, wireless communication, networking, servers, digital broadcast, and test & measurement applications.

Oscillator-14.000000E works on the principle of relaxation oscillation. It consists of two parts – an amplifier and an RC network. When the circuit is in its normal operating state, the amplifier is in its linear region, and does not provide any oscillations. When a small voltage is applied across the input of the circuit, the amplifier goes into the non-linear region and begins to oscillate. The RC network set helps to determine the natural frequency of oscillation in the circuit.

When Oscillator-14.000000E is connected to a power supply, a voltage is applied to the input of the amplifier. This causes a small current to flow through the RC network. The network set acts as an energy storage element, which means that a small amount of charge is stored in it each time the current passes through it. As the charge stored in the network builds up, it creates an alternating voltage that increases until it reaches a certain level and then starts decreasing. The amplifier amplifies this AC voltage, which is then fed out of the circuit. This AC voltage is used for timing and synchronization purposes.
