The single-tone configuration is a single frequency output from 1.6GHz to 2GHz with a variable frequency adjustment range of 40.500 to 1000MHz. The dual-tone configuration is two frequencies output from 1.6GHz to 2GHz with a variable frequency adjustment range of 40.500 to 1000MHz.The SIT1602BI offers adjustable output power from 18dBm to 0dBm and 8dB steps, making it highly configurable. The device has a wide temperature range of -40 to +125°C. It also has a low phase noise of -84dBc/Hz. The low current consumption makes the device ideal for battery-powered applications.The SIT1602BI uses an oscillator circuit to produce the desired output frequency. The circuit includes an on-chip voltage controlled oscillator (VCO) and a passive tank circuit. The VCO generates a voltage that is proportional to the frequency applied to the tank circuit.
