The working principle of the SIT3809AC-C-33NE programmable oscillator is quite simple. An incoming clock signal is frequency divided down to the desired frequency by a programmable divider chip while passing through an LC filter. Then, a voltage controlled oscillator (VCO) receives the divided frequency and produces a stable clock output. By controlling the voltage supplied to the VCO, the output frequency of the oscillator can be adjusted with great accuracy.
The main applications of the SIT3809AC-C-33NE programmable oscillator include clock synchronization in communication devices, frequency synthesizers, frequency hopping, communication systems in wireless networks, high speed digital signal processing, ultrasound imaging systems, and zero-frequency switching.
