It features a high-performance voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) with fundamental frequency range of 1 Hz to 500 MHz and a total tuning range of 0.01 Hz to 500 MHz. It also has low power consumption, high output amplitude, excellent accuracy and stability.The SIT3809AI-C-33NE is suitable for applications such as intelligent instrumentation, communications systems, digital signal processing and other high-end digital products. It is an ideal solution for various applications, such as voltage regulators, PLL controllers, frequency synthesizers, ADC and DAC clock sources, as well as low-phase noise source applications. It provides high precision performance and flexibility for system designs.The SIT3809AI-C-33NEworking principle is based on analog frequency synthesis with digitally controlled precision. The SIT3809AI-C-33NE has an internal voltage controlled oscillator (VCO) that can be controlled by a digitally programmable frequency control voltage (DCV). This DCV is generated on the basis of the programmed values in the internal registers.The VCO signal is passed through an internal loop filter, where it is then divided by programmable divider values before being passed to the SIT3809AI-C-33NE output stage. The output stage is formed using an external voltage regulator. The voltage regulator output signal is connected to the output and provides the optionally required output signal level.In addition to its VCO control, the SIT3809AI-C-33NE supports external crystal oscillator clock sources and externally provided input clocks. By combining VCO and external clock sources the user can generate a hybrid clock signal for the system.The SIT3809AI-C-33NE is equipped with a user-programmable digital-to-analog converter (DAC) for fine-tuning the voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) frequency range. The DAC is programmed with a digital word and then converted to an analog voltage by a 12-bit successive approximation ADC. This output voltage is then used to control the internal oscillator to achieve the desired center frequency with the help of a temperature compensation module.All in all, the SIT3809AI-C-33NE is an ideal choice for programmable oscillators due to its high performance and excellent frequency switching capabilities. It is suitable for a variety of applications and provides customers with flexible and reliable clock solutions.
