SIT3822AC-2C-33NG is a microprocessor-controlled programmable oscillator (PCPO) from Sitronix that combines the advantages of both quartz- and MEMS-based oscillators. SIT3822AC-2C-33NG Application Field and Working Principle

SIT3822AC-2C-33NG has a wide range of applications in clocks generator, automotive and medical field, such as Bluetooth module, touch control, IoT, robotics and video camera, etc. Its working principle is based on the microprocessor, which is used to read a digital reference clock amplitude and frequency information, and then fixed them on certain frequency by controlling MEMS elements.

The microprocessor works according to the frequency and amplitude information and adjusts the MEMS elements such as anchored flexural filters, MEMS resonator, and MOV filter accordingly. The filter elements are used to read the reference frequency and amplitude. The microprocessor uses the information from the filter elements and then adjusts the MEMS elements to achieve the desired frequency and amplitude. The microprocessor then generates a signal to control the clock output of the oscillator.

The advantage of SIT3822AC-2C-33NG is that it can be programmed to provide a frequency range up to 100MHz and output at any frequency within the range.
