The SIT8008ACE7-30S is one such Programmable Oscillator from the SI Technologies (SIT) series, featuring a wide operating temperature range, high accuracy over a wide frequency range, and low current consumption. The SIT8008ACE7-30S has multiple control input pins for easy configuration, such as selectable output frequency, low power consumption, enable and disable control and wide operating temperature range. The oscillator mainly consists of quartz crystal, a capacitance and four active devices, including three op-amps and one schmitt trigger. And it is temperature compensated with thin-film or low temperature coefficient (LTC) varactors, as well as a bandpass filter and a low level slope filter.

Since the SIT8008ACE7-30S is a Programmable Oscillator, users can configure the device to produce output clocks at the specified frequency by selecting parameters such as the capacitance ratio, inductance ratio and output frequency. To do this, users need to first connect the control input pins to enable the oscillator, then adjust the capacitance ratio, inductance ratio and output frequency values using the user configuration tool. Once these values have been set, the oscillator will generate the output signal at the specified frequency with a high accuracy of ±0.5% over operating temperatures of -30°C to +85°C.
