Working Principle SIT8008AIB2-18S works on the principle of PLL (Phase Locked Loop). It has a frequency tuning range of 1 kHz – 200 MHz and can be programmed by a user to adjust their output frequency to the needs of their application. This can be done via either the 4-pin serial I/O bus or a 4-pin I/O interface.The PLL phase-locked loop consists of a phase-locked loop filter, a voltage-controlled oscillator, and a divide-by-N counter. The user inputs a frequency command via the serial I/O bus or the 4-pin I/O interface and then the voltage-controlled oscillator uses a circuit to convert this frequency command into the desired output frequency. The phase-locked loop filter ensures that the output frequency follows the input frequency and that any changes to the output frequency occur quickly.The divide-by-N counter then divides the output frequency of the voltage-controlled oscillator by a factor of N (where N is initially set by the user) to reduce jitter of the output signal.
