The oscillator can be programmed to frequencies between 8 MHz and 40 MHz and offers an output frequency accuracy of ±12.5 ppm. The SIT8008AIL3-18E works on the principle of using a temperature-compensated voltage-controlled oscillator (TCXO). First, an external crystal oscillator is connected to the frequency-determining input of the oscillation circuit.
