The SIT8008AIR1-25S is a high-precision, low-frequency Programmable Oscillator developed for the global market. It is extremely small, measuring just 3.2mm x 2.5mm, yet it provides an impressive, adjustable frequency range from 1MHz-25MHz. The SIT8008AIR1-25S uses a Multi-Mode technology for its accurate frequency adjustment. This technology integrates not only a temperature compensation circuit, but also an optimized output impedance network and a high-precision clock source oscillator. These components cooperate to guarantee an adjustable frequency output with a minimal stability and temperature drift.

The SIT8008AIR1-25S has a wide range of applications. Most prominently, it is used in multicarrier mobile communication systems such as the GSM and W-CDMA. However, it is also the ideal choice for frequency synthesizers, synthesized radio and IF circuits, microprocessors, frequency counters and Agile Radio Receivers.

In terms of working principle, the SIT8008AIR1-25S is based on the use of Multi-Mode technology.
