Programmable Oscillators are one of the most commonly used components in modern electronics. Typically oscillators are used to generate a particular frequency of oscillation or to maintain a constant harmonic frequency. The SIT8008AIT3-33E Programmable Oscillator is a highly reliable and cost effective oscillator with dedicated design for applications in computers, communications and industrial control applications.

The SIT8008AIT3-33E is primarily designed for frequency synthesis, wide-frequency range, and excellent frequency control. The device is designed using CMOS process, which ensures low power dissipation. The oscillator has a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. Additionally, the SIT8008AIT3-33E is equipped with on-board output buffers and the ability to drive up to three additional loads.

The SIT8008AIT3-33E provides a frequency synthesizer mode that enables it to generate an output frequency from a reference frequency. This makes the device ideal for multiple applications including phase-locked loops, frequency division, and phase division. Additionally, the device can be used to generate a wide range of frequencies from a single reference source.

The device’s frequency control is achieved by using an on-board digital frequency adjust DAC. This DAC allows the user to program the output frequency from the oscillator in small steps. This provides excellent frequency control and can easily be calibrated by the user. In addition, the SIT8008AIT3-33E includes an on-board Crystall Frequency Trim function that allows the user to further fine tune the output frequency.

The SIT8008AIT3-33E Programmable Oscillator provides excellent accuracy and stability with minimum power consumption over wide temperature range. The device’s on-board frequency adjust DAC and on-board Crystall Frequency Trim functions provide excellent frequency control. Furthermore, the device can be used for applications in computers, communications and industrial control.
