The integrated SIT8008BCE8-18N is a programmable oscillator module and it implements the programming logic in the oscillator’s central circuit. All programming is done through the programmable interface and the programming logic is based on a wave and frequency range. The central circuit accepts 9 bits of data and it programs the oscillator for the desired frequency and waveform. The SIT8008BCE8-18N implements a Frequency-Locking functionality which allows for programming of the oscillator directly to the desired frequency and waveform, reducing the time and complexity involved.

The SIT8008BCE8-18N offers many advantages over more traditional discrete oscillators in terms of size, cost and reliability.
