This data is then used to generate an output clock signal of the desired frequency. The output clock is generated by generating a square wave by switching a binary counter within the oscillator between two logic states. The binary counter is clocked by the external reference clock and each transition of the binary counter will result in one clock cycle of the output clock.The SIT8008BCF8-18S is designed to provide a low power, high accuracy clock generators with a wide range of frequencies and programmability.
