SIT8008BCL1-25E Programmable Oscillator uses a high-performance parametric resonator as the resonant source and a voltage control crystal oscillator (VCXO) circuit based on a current-sense biCMOS technology as the tuning port. The VCXO circuit stabilizes the IDDQ until the oscillation signal is small enough to lock the external frequency reference signal into the parametric resonator. The wide voltage range allows both 1.8V and 2.5V operation.

In addition, SIT8008BCL1-25E can also interact with the external feedback phase locked loop circuit. The VCO and PLL feedback signal are kept low outside the phase lock range and are kept high inside the phase lock range, which gives the possibility of maximizing the overall noise immunity and output average power.
