The size of this miniature SMD oscillator is compact and allows for flexible space-saving applications. The low current consumption of 8µA and high shock and vibration resistance of 2K G and 2G respectively makes it an ideal solution for the harsh applications in industrial environments.Apart from providing exceptional accuracy, the SIT8008BCR1-XXN also maintains stability over wide temperature variations. With an Accuracy of ±100ppm, this oscillator offers optimization of frequency, which enables low jitter operations in demanding applications.In addition to its precision and stability, SIT8008BCR1-XXN also has the ability to be programmed in order to fit any specific system requirement. This oscillator allows users to control the frequency precisely with digital input control by connecting different external pins. The programmable oscillator also features 3 digital inputs and a programming kit, enabling custom frequency generation, power consumption control and other custom solutions.The working principle of the SIT8008BCR1-XXN is based on the use of digital ring oscillators. The basic structure of this oscillator consists of a series of digital logic gates with two outputs and an RC feedback network. It works by transferring its intermediate output to the next stage, where the signal is stored in a capacitor-resistor mixture. This serves to amplify the signal as well as cyclically shift the phase of each manipulation so that the signal is oscillating back and forth.
