Programmable oscillators have broad application in electronics, radio frequency and microwaves, telecommunications, military and aerospace, automotive and other industries. SIT8008BCT8-28N is an advanced programmable clock oscillator which provides very precise timing accuracy and stability.

The SIT8008BCT8-28N clock oscillator is a highly stable, fully digital programmable oscillator developed for a wide range of high-performance applications. It provides excellent performance via its integrated temperature compensation and digital programmability, eliminating the need for external components to trim the frequency accuracy or stabilize the system. The temperature characteristics of SIT8008BCT8-28N are less than 50ppm and the frequency range is 7.5 MHz to 160 MHz. Besides, it also provides a wide choice of input voltage range: 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V, and 5V.

The SIT8008BCT8-28N is widely used in various applications such as processor system synchronization and bus timing of instrumentation and communication equipment, on-board clock source for memory device and LCDs, microprocessors and controllers, as well as other mission-critical applications. The precision frequency control of the oscillator provides precise clocking and control for protocol applications such as SONET, Gigabit Ethernet, and Fibre Channel, and provide reliable frequency against jitter and noise for DSP applications including modulations, pulse response filters and signal analysis. In the industrial field, it is widely used in monitoring and controlling, wireless network communication and wireless periphery devices.

The SIT8008BCT8-28N clock oscillator works by generating precise oscillation pulses through its digital programmable crystal oscillator. The digital process ensures precise initialization and very low jitter of frequency and amplitude, also providing high power and very low temperature drifts. The crystal oscillator features high temperature stability and low power consumption. In addition, it requires no manual programming and the power consumption is only 7 mW in a 5V supply.

The SIT8008BCT8-28N clock oscillator provides a wide range of applications and excellent performance. The integrated temperature compensation and digital programmability ensure excellent frequency accuracy and jitter performance. The applicable voltage range is flexible and the internal power consumption is low.
