The SIT8008BIT3-25S consists of a small 8-pin, 0.5” wide SOIC package, with a maximum frequency of 25MHz. The oscillator utilizes a programming format known as Bus-Ethernet, which allows for the configuration of a wide variety of communication parameters through a single high-speed bus. This type of programming makes the SIT8008BIT3-25S ideal for use in applications such as, but not limited to, communications, data acquisition, control systems, industrial automation and instrumentation.

The SIT8008BIT3-25S makes use of a CMOS process to ensure low power consumption and high frequency accuracy. The oscillator utilises a ‘noise-coupled’, low resistive output stage in order to provide a level of jitter suppression which is rarely seen in other types of oscillators. This feature allows for reliable data transfer rates of up to 25MHz and makes the SIT8008BIT3-25S a good option for applications where high-frequency accuracy and low jitter are a concern.

The oscillator has an internal clock circuit and can be powered by both 3.3 Volt and 5 Volt supplies.
