Programmable Oscillators are electronic oscillators offering programmability or flexibility in the frequency output. While traditional oscillators make output based on the physical design such as fixed capacitance and inductance, nothing can be altered for the output once its manufactured. With Programmable Oscillators, the output frequency, phase and the power level can be adjusted by the user, according to specific needs.

SIT8009BCF31-30S is a 4th generation Programmable Oscillator, developed for advanced applications in the fields of automotive, industrial and communication systems. The oscillator offers adjustable frequency operation, low power consumption and a low profile package.

The SIT8009BCF31-30S oscillator package is 7.0mm x 5.0mm x 1.8mm and 40 pins with 1.0mm pitch spacing. The oscillator has a frequency range of 10 MHz to 600 MHz, a MEMS resonator, 20 bits resolution of frequency adjustment, wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C and a low power consumption of 9mA.

The SIT8009BCF31-30S oscillators have an adjustable duty cycle (Skew) for fine frequency control. This helps to reduce waveform and spectral distortion in transmission signals, resulting in a better signal-to-noise ratio and greater data integrity.
