The device supports both single-ended and differential clock inputs, as well as Dual-Mode PECL/LVPECL outputs which provide high-frequency performance.

The SIT9002AI-13N33DG programmable oscillator works by synthesizing a specific frequency based on a set of values given to an internal register. These values are derived from the input clock frequency and the desired output frequency. The internal register is programmed via a serial peripheral interface (SPI) or I2C interface.
