It offers a variety of output signal types for a wide range of applications including: 10 MHz, 5 MHz, 2.5 MHz, and 1 MHz. It also has differential AC-coupled and single ended signal outputs as well as logic level square wave outputs. Its on-die frequency adjustment and stability trim functions, as well as its ability to accept digital programming, make it the perfect choice for industrial and instrumentation applications.

Application Field

The SIT9002AI-33N33DB programmable oscillator is ideal for frequency synthesizers, communication systems, frequency locking, signal generation/modulation, clock and data recovery, data conversion, and precision timing applications. Working Principle

The working principle of the SIT9002AI-33N33DB programmable oscillator is based on the variable-frequency oscillator (VFO) topology. This topology uses a variable crystal resonator to generate a stable frequency output. The frequency output of the VFO can be adjusted by changing the capacitance or inductance of the load capacitors connected to the crystal resonator. To adjust the output frequency of the oscillator, the SIT9002AI-33N33DB uses an on-chip EEPROM to store the desired frequency settings. For stability and accuracy, it also incorporates an on-die frequency trim function and a high-precision crystal oscillator. Besides, its high-speed clock generator and logic level square wave outputs provide additional features and flexibility.
