The oscillator is factory-trimmed using laser trim technology to eliminate the need for post-assembly trimming and provide excellent frequency accuracy of -150 ppm or better over wide temperature range (-20°C to 70°C).

The SIT9002AI-33N33DG offers adjustable frequency from 4.0MHz to 115MHz, with a frequency tolerance of -150 ppb. It has 2.5Vdc to 3.3Vdc logic compatible input logic levels and adjustable logic output types as LVDS ( Low Voltage Differential Signaling ) or CMOS ( Complementary Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor ). It operates with a power supply voltage of 2.5Vdc to 3.3Vdc.

The oscillator can be programmed using either a 3-wire or 4-wire interface. The 3-wire interface is used to control the oscillator frequency and output type. A single control signal (CLKREQ) is used to select one of two frequency ranges. The 4-wire interface is used to control the frequency and the output type, as well as the output voltage level. The voltage output control signal (VRL) allows for adjusting the output voltage level to match the expected input voltage level of the components connected to the oscillator.

The SIT9002AI-33N33DG also features a Low Noise Mode (LNM), providing an additional 10 dB reduction in output frequency noise. This is ideal for such applications as test and measuring instruments, precision clocks, industrial and process control where low-noise performance is desired. The LNM is turned on and off via an on-board control pin (ENLNM) which can be programmed via the 3-wire or 4-wire interface.
