The SIT9003AC-8-28DQ is a type of programmable oscillator developed by Silicon Laboratories. The output signal is based on a proprietary technology known as "Vortex Modulation." This allows the SIT9003AC-8-28DQ to generate low jitter and low phase noise outputs. It is capable of controlling the frequency to within a few parts per million over a wide temperature range.The SIT9003AC-8-28DQ is a low operating voltage device, requiring only a single 1.8 V or 3.3 V supply to operate. It features multiple channels with up to six outputs and can operate from a frequency range of 400 kHz to 300 MHz with a total of 32 holdover modes. The frequency range is adjustable using an on-board programming method as well as an external programmable reference.The SIT9003AC-8-28DQ utilizes a voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) in the frequency loop to allow precise tuning and produces low jitter, low noise, and wide dynamic frequency range. The output frequency is tuned with the help of a digitally controlled tuner circuit and the voltage control is achieved by adjusting the on-chip resistor and the programmable reference.The SIT9003AC-8-28DQ also features a frequency hold option and other user-selectable enhancements such as internal and external channel assignment and synchronization, frequency selection, and external reference and output control.
