PLL technology is a type of frequency synthesis method used to generate high-frequency signals from signal sources having much lower frequency. The chip implements the PLL technology by incorporating two voltage-controlled oscillators: a reference oscillator and a voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO).The reference oscillator is used as the reference signal for the VCO. It is typically clocked from an external signal, and its frequency is much higher than that of the VCO. The output signal of the VCO is being fed back to the reference oscillator, causing the VCO to lock onto the same frequency as that of the reference oscillator. In addition, the reference oscillator’s frequency can also be adjusted to change the output frequency of the VCO.The SIT9005ACA2G-30NO chip also includes a clock divider circuit which divides the reference frequency four times, resulting in a low-frequency signal being generated at the output of the VCO. This valanced signal is passed through a voltage-controlled filter before arriving at the chip’s low-pass filter. The output of the low-pass filter is then sent to an output stage to produce the desired output frequency.The SIT9005ACA2G-30NO chip is primarily used in low-frequency applications such as in various types of test and measurement devices, medical devices, and wireless communication systems. The device is also used in wireless networks that require very low power consumption, such as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi networks. Additionally, the chip is also suitable for applications in voltage sensing and temperature sensing systems.
