Programmable Oscillators are frequency control devices with one or more flop-flops that are sensitive to change either logic levels or frequency from an internal or external source. Among the various programmable oscillators, SIT9005ACE2H-30SI are especially designed for mission critical applications. The type of programmable oscillator minimizes the impact of temperature variations to the frequency stability for a wide temperature operating range.

The SIT9005ACE2H-30SI programmable oscillator provides excellent performance in the form of low jitter and high phase noise, stability over temperature, and voltage. In terms of construction and operation, the SIT9005ACE2H-30SI programmable oscillator is based on a hybrid circuit containing a phase locked loop (PLL) and a multi-output divider. It also includes a control circuit to receive digital instructions and control signals. The input of the control circuit is accessible via an external control interface. When the input control signals and digital instructions are received, these signals are converted into analog signals that are passed to the PLL and multi-output divider. The PLL then controls the oscillator frequency by adjusting its output voltage.
