This oscillator provides an easy-to-use solution for applications needing an adjustable frequency range suitable for most clock generations and other timing requirements.The SIT9005ACL1G-28DJ is an industrial grade, low voltage oscillator that can be programmed to operate in ranges from 0.8 to 100 MHz. The frequency range is divided into three different ranges: 0.8 to 15 MHz, 16 to 65 MHz, and 66 to 100 MHz. The SIT9005ACL1G-28DJ contains a dedicated programmable frequency control register (PCR) that allows for programming of the exact frequency that is desired. The PCR contains a serial I/O port for programming of frequency and voltage settings.The oscillator has a dedicated thermal pad for temperature stability and protection. The thermal pad helps to ensure that the oscillator operates within the desired specifications by providing increased thermal consistency. This helps to keep the operational frequency within the specified frequency range.The oscillator also provides a robust on-board clock output driver with programmable slew rates. The clock output driver has an active low and active high output enabling the user to specify different slew rates.
