The SIT9005ACL1G-28NM is a programmable oscillator device that integrates a dual frequency synthesizer, a low noise PLL, and a high performance, low jitter programmable oscillator in one chip.This device is designed for high performance applications, such as fiber-optic receivers, SONET/SDH clock and data recovery systems, high-speed communications, clock generators, and high-speed signal processing applications. It is available in a variety of frequency range such as from 10KHz to 200MHz. In addition, the SIT9005ACL1G-28NM features dual frequency synthesizers and phase locked loops (PLLs) which can input clocks from crystal oscillators that provide 11 different output frequencies in the range of 10KHz to 200MHz. The SIT9005ACL1G-28NM also adopts low phase noise PLL architecture and 9-bit fractional-N digital frequency synthesizer of dual synchronous mode. This allows the outputs to be adjusted with extremely low phase noise and low jitter characteristics.The SIT9005ACL1G-28NM programmable oscillator works using the application of frequency synthesizer and PLL. The output of this oscillator device is determined by the input frequency, divider code and loop filter parameters of the locked PLL. The two frequency synthesizers can provide two independent frequency output in dual synchronous mode and up to three frequencies in mixed synchronous mode.The dual frequency synthesizers and PLL use a 9-bit fractional-N digital frequency synthesizer to generate 11 output frequencies within the frequency range of 10KHz to 200MHz. The maximum frequency resolution of frequency synthesizers can be as low as 1Hz, which is ideal for clock and data recovery applications requiring fine tuning of the output frequency.The SIT9005ACL1G-28NM also features a prescaler that can divide the input frequency of the VCXO by 16. This allows for the use of lower frequency crystal oscillators and increases the flexibility of the device when different frequencies are required.The SIT9005ACL1G-28NM has wide voltage range that covers from 1.7V to 3.6V, making it suitable for use in different applications.
