Suitable for extremely demanding applications, such as military, automotive and space-based systems, they offer a reliable, stable and readily programmable solution for timing and synchronization tasks.SIT9005ACR1G-25DD is an advanced programmable frequency crystal oscillator highly suitable for military, automotive and space applications. It is an externally programmable oscillator, and provides excellent frequency accuracy and long-term stability over a wide operating temperature and voltage range with a wide frequency tuning range. The oscillator features a patented CSR technology, ensuring a high level of programmability, frequency stability and a wide operating temperature range.The main application fields of SIT9005ACR1G-25DD include industrial, commercial and military applications, as well as automotive, telecommunications and networking applications. It has been specially designed for use in mission-critical systems, where time and frequency stability are critical, such as communications and navigation systems. The oscillator technology allows frequency tuning at the module level, enabling the exacting synchronization needs in these applications.The working principle of the oscillator is based on a quartz crystal resonator which is surrounded by temperature-sensitive components, typically Ferroelectric RAM ( FeRAM) or EEPROM. The aim is to be able to program the frequency range of the crystal and, as a result, the output frequency range of the oscillator with a certain degree of accuracy.The SIT9005ACR1G-25DD can be tuned to output a frequency range from 0.4kHz to 50 MHz. A microcontroller is used to control the programming of the oscillator, which makes the programming of the frequency range of the oscillator automatic. The oscillator also features a low-jitter and high-performance output and is capable of handling high-frequency signals.
