Programmable Oscillators - SIT9005ACR2G-25DI Application Field and Working Principle
Programmable oscillators are widely used in engineering applications where precise control over frequency is required. SIT9005ACR2G-25DI is one such type of oscillator that has been developed by SITech and is built on a silicon die. This oscillator is capable of providing frequency synchronized outputs at different frequencies and phase shifts over a wide range that are in compliance with IEEE and JEDEC standards.The main purpose of SIT9005ACR2G-25DI oscillator is to generate a high reliability, low distortion output signal in response to an input signal. The oscillator is capable of achieving high frequency stability and provides a variety of enhanced features such as adjustable rise/fall time of output signal, adjustable peak-to-peak modulation, frequency lock function and programmable outputs. This allows for the design of applications with a high degree of accuracy. The SIT9005ACR2G-25DI consists of a three-stage differential amplifier, reference amplifier buffer with low frequency filter and adjustable N-Q multipliers. The differential amplifier is used to convert the input signal into a complementary signal, while the reference amplifier buffer allows for adjustment of the reference voltage. The N-Q multipliers are used to multiply the reference voltage by an adjustable ratio and determine the output frequency. The SIT9005ACR2G-25DI allows for a wide range of applications in the field of communication and instrumentation. It can be used to develop wireless networks, mobile telco systems, satellite downlinks, digital mobile radio, wireless internet protocol devices, GPS receivers and wireless remote control systems.The oscillator can also be used in a variety of instrumentation applications, such as automotive engine and transmission controllers, industrial automation controllers, optical and magnetic detection systems, and security systems.The oscillator uses a unique programmable output buffer that provides a wide range of adjustable output rise/fall times and peak-to-peak modulation.
