With its excellent jitter performance, it is ideal for jitter-critical systems such as Ethernet receivers, Ethernet switches and PDH/SDH transmission systems.The working principle of the SIT9005ACT1D-18DB programmable oscillator is based on the oscillation of a quartz crystal embedded in the device. This oscillator is powered by a 3.3V DC voltage and has an adjustable frequency determined by the crystal load capacitance. The frequency of the oscillator can be programmed via an external capacitor of up to 50pF, enabling it to be tuned for the specific application.The SIT9005ACT1D-18DB boasts excellent stability and low jitter performance, thanks to the tight control of the primary frequency characteristics of the crystal.
