The eight frequency settings can be adjusted in 0.1 kHz steps, which allows for exact tuning to the desired frequency without a lot of complex calculations; this is especially useful for those applications that require tight waveform duplication or yet-to-be-determined frequencies. The frequency settings can be programmed using either a direct frequency entry, a programmable sequence, or a frequency multiplication function.Programmable oscillators are designed for both automation and manual use.
