SK-GEN4-28D-CLB-PI Application Field and Working Principle

The SK-GEN4-28D-CLB-PI is an LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) module in the SK-GEN4 series. It is a full-color graphic LCD module which carries RGB striped display technology and its resolution is 320×480 pixels. SK-GEN4-28D-CLB-PI’s special feature is CAPACITIVE TOUCH SENSING. Working Principle

The SK-GEN4-28D-CLB-PI operates using RGB striped LCD technology. In this technology, there is a special display mode called Interleaved Mode. When it works in the Interleaved Mode, both the Red and Blue subpixels are alternately located between the Green subpixels and when the pixel is lit, all three subpixels are lit in one pixel point.

Aside from its LCD technology, the SK-GEN4-28D-CLB-PI is also equipped with Capacitive Touch Sensing which makes it perfect for touch screen user interfaces. This technology uses sensors that are located within the display module and it is highly accurate and responsive. It requires a minimum touch pressure of 4g to activate the touch sensor, which makes it very convenient to use.
