I/O Relay Modules

The SM-OACUA series of I/O (interchangeable input/output) relay modules are part of the comprehensive range of Smaract products. The SM-OACUA products are specifically designed to be an easy-to-use solution for connection of external devices.

Application Field

SM-OACUA I/O relay modules are often used in industrial applications. This includes automation, robotics, assembly, medical, sensing, quality assurance, and general-purpose applications. SM-OACUA products are suitable for use in harsh environments and hazardous locations.

The SM-OACUA series offers two types of products. The SM-OACUA-A and SM-OACUA-R products are designed for use in automation and robotics applications, while the SM-OACUA-M and SM-OACUA-S are suitable for high-precision sensing, quality assurance, and general-purpose applications.

Working Principle

The SM-OACUA products are designed to ensure reliable performance in harsh environmental conditions. The input and output ports can be programmed with different operating modes for optimal performance. Furthermore, they are protected against over-temperature, over-voltage, and short-circuit.

The output relay is activated when the input switch is filled. An opto-isolator allows reliable galvanic isolation from the input to the output.
