Working Principle

The SMM-120-02-S-S-LC-P low voltage header connectors use a two-piece system: the header and the socket. The header has a two-part housing made of thermoplastic material, which support two printed circuit boards (PCBs) staked on the middle part. The header has male pins and the socket has two female contact sets. One set is used for soldering the ribbon cable to the PCB, while the other set connects the two PCBs.

The header features an advanced surface mount connection system, which ensures a secure and reliable connection between the two PCBs.
