The SMM-135-02-S-S-LC-P is a type of rectangular connector for headers, receptacles, and female sockets. The SMM-135-02-S-S-LC-P consists of two mating parts; the header and the receptacle. The header is constructed out of high quality materials, such as G45 and G41 parts, and comes in two available sizes; a 36-pin 1mm, and a 20-pin 0.7mm. SMM-135-02-S-S-LC-P headers come with a wall mount, lockable hood, and two options for keying. The receptacle is equipped with four nickel-plated brass contacts, mounting posts, two keying options, and clip retention grooves for secure connection. It is internationally rated with UL/CSA or EN standards, and up to 5A rated.

In terms of mechanical performance, the SMM-135-02-S-S-LC-P offers a number of features such as low profile height, low insertion and extraction forces, and reliable connections. The pin pitch of the headers is 0.7mm and 1mm, and contact pitch is 0.8mm and 1.2mm. The headers are designed for solder reflow soldering and wave soldering or other applicable procedures, and the receptacles for solderless processes.
