SQT-136-01-L-5 consists of a female mating header, a plastic connector, and a removable latch. It has a two-row, 4-pin layout with a 0.1” pitch and 4.2 mm (0.165”) spacing. The main body of the connector is made up of UL94 V-0 rated black PBT, while its contact pins are brass. The gold-plated contact area limits mating force and ensures a reliable electrical connection. Additionally, its removable latch includes an ergonomic design which simplifies latch operation and increases the mating/unmating process.

It has a rated voltage of 250 V AC and a rated current of 1.0 A. It boasts a temperature range of vast range (unmated/mated) of -40°C to + 105°C, and a temperature range of operating (unmated/mated) of -25°C to + 80°C. Its different resistances parameters, including dustproof, insulation, contact, press-fit terminations, and torque are N7,5000V AC, 1A, 1A, 0.3Nm, respectively. The total mating stroke is 2.5mm and its mating life cycle performance is greater than 1000 times.

The working principle of the SQT-136-01-L-5 is quite simple. It is initiated by inserting the female mating header into the receptacle on the device. As one pushes the header into the receptacle, its conductive pins make contact with the receptacle’s contacts on the device, creating an electrical connection. The removable latch then locks the mating header in the receptacle, making sure that the connection is not lost during use. To disconnect, one only needs to lift the latch on the female mating header in order to remove it from the receptacle.
