SSL-LX3054LGD is a type of device commonly used in LED Indication - Discrete. It is a low-current, single-chip LED indicator great for indicating the status and state change of operating devices. It includes three of the most popular LED packages, ideal as small status indicators, more specifically as discrete semiconductor with mounting holes.
With a maximum current and voltage output of 30mA and 25V respectively, SSL-LX3054LGD offers a wide variety of uses depending on desired application fields. Working principle of the device is that the output current control switches consist of a two-transistor composite turn-on logic circuit, which generates an output current that corresponds to the logic level of the input. This output current is constant, regardless of the magnitude of the input voltage.
The LED, which is connected to the output current control switches, will light up when the corresponding logic state is 1. If the logic state is 0, the LED will NOT light, no matter the magnitude of the input voltage for the device.
Static characteristics include low power consumption, wide operating temperature range of -40–85℃, wide supply voltage range of 2-10V, and low-current output size. Dynamic characteristics include a maximum propagation delay time of 30ns at 4.5V as well as a maximum output current of 30mA, minimum supply voltage of 2V, and maximum output current of 25V.
