With maximum power dissipation of 1.6W and only a size of 40S (2.6 x 2.6 x 0.8 mm), this LED indication component can operate over a wide voltage range from 4V to 14V and with no external series resistor required. The maximum ambient temperature range is from -40 °C up to +100 °C. Furthermore, the component is compliant with RoHS and Reach regulations.

The working principle of SSL-LX5093SRD/F is very simple. The component’s internal Constant-Current LED Driver is switched on by a logic level signal. A reference voltage Rif is always on and when a logic level input signal is applied to Vin, the constant-current driver is activated, and current will flow through the LED. The current is maintained at 4.5mA or 1mA depending on the LED status.
