SSM 120L SH LC, also known as low-cost PCB headers are designed to meet the needs of highly sensitive and miniature electronic equipment. This family of low-cost PCB headers provides the highest level of electrical reliability and reduced susceptibility to shock and vibration. This connectors is applied for PC/LAN, laptops, notebook computers and electronic applications where noise immunity and reliability are required.

The SSM-120-L-SH-LC is specially designed for high-speed data and power interconnections. This series of low-cost PCB headers provide a design that minimizes electrical effects due to crosstalk, ground bounce and common-mode noise. Additionally, this series offers low insertion and withdrawal forces that make it easy to assemble and maintain.

This type of board-to-board connector has a three terminal header and two contact tabs for mechanical and electrical connection between an electronic device and a printed circuit board. 2. Then the small-gauge wire is connected to the printed circuit board and the housing in order to provide a more protective connection between the device and the PCB.

3. Lastly, a pressure-sensitive spring clip is used to keep the two contact finger in place. This prevents any mechanical pulls from damaging the device or the PCB.
