SSM-142-S-SV Application Field and Working Principle

The SSM-142-S-SV is a rectangular connector within the family of Headers, Receptacles, Female Sockets, and are primarily used in communication, power, automation, medical, and audio applications. They are designed to provide optimal efficiency in terms of electrical performance and durability.

The SSM-142-S-SV connectors use breakaway headers that have a pitch of 0.156”, and feature 24 through 104 position housing with 4-40 removable screws for simple engagement and disengagement. The SSM-142-S-SV receptacles have secure retention systems that minimize cable movement and provide superior performance under harsh conditions.

The design of the SSM-142-S-SV connector follows various UL-94 V-2 flammability ratings and is compatible with lead-free solder processes.
