Working Principle

SSQ-118-03-S-S connector is a two-piece receptacle assembly, composed of plug-type and socket-type. It has two lines, a positive line and a negative line. Its plug-type is soldered with wires, and the socket-type is soldered on the Printed Circuit Board (PCB) based on application. The contactor embedded in socket-type has crimping regions, which is cast with metal and extruded during assembly. These two parts will be closely connected and got fixed after the assembly through the crimping.

SSQ-118-03-S-S connector has a simple design and wide acceptance, it can be used in many different applications. Its design includes both low profile and small pitch for high densityapplications, which help to reduce the size and weight of equipment.

The contacts are made of Phosphor Bronze plating with gold, and they are preloaded to ensure firmly seated and better current and signal transmission for more reliable performance.
