Intel SSQ-124-01-S-Q is a right angled header connector manufactured by Intel used in many applications with board-to-board, cable-to-board, and cable-to-cable in a variety of industries. It is rectangular in shape with a female socket and an angled header. The main part is an insulator body made of UL 94V rated thermoplastic.
The SSQ-124-01-S-Q is the highest density version of this connector family which includes DIP and PGA versions. It has a mating interface consisting of a stack of two headers on both sides so that up to 8 different boards or devices can be connected to each other. On the connector body itself there are two rows of pins for each header, arranged in two layers of up to 8 pins each, totaling 16 pins per side. These pins are gold plated to ensure reliable signal transmission and long life. The socket assembly in the socket body provides a rigid but easy-to-release connection for the mating headers.
