SSW-105-02-S-S-RA Application Field And Working Principle

Rectangular Connectors - Headers, Receptacles, Female Sockets are widely used in various industries and products. They are cost effective solutions for electronic device and applications. The SSW-105-02-S-S-RA is a highly reliable female socket connector suitable for AC and DC current wires operating in harsh environments.The SSW-105-02-S-S-RA are commonly used as motor ignition control wires, electronic relays in robotics, sub-sea devices, transmission devices, solar panel power control, HVAC equipment, and many other applications with harsh, high temperature environments. The connector is designed with a unique cable strain relief and unique keying, to ensure a consistent increasing torque and secure connection.The connector has a 2.06mm contact pitch and a maximum rated voltage of up to 250V/3000V. It provides easy and reliable connection, and is suitable for any environment which require higher levels of mechanical stability, like outdoor installations or vibration applications.The SSW-105-02-S-S-RA is available in 4, 6, 8 and 10 poles, with two, three or four rows. In order to ensure the best performance for harsh environment, the contacts and insulators are plated with gold and the end covers are made with Polyolefin, to eliminate the risk of infiltration when implementing the connector in humid or wet applications. The SSW-105-02-S-S-RA is RoHS compliant and compatible with other similar devices. It is UL and CUL approved and tested to meet MIL-STD-202 requirements.The assembly of the SSW-105-02-S-S-RA is designed to facilitate the automation processes. The items are inserted in the required wire insulation and the pressure is applied to the sides of the end covers until the power signal circuit is transmitted. In case the threading is necessary, the threading tool is used, to create a locked wire to contact interface.The SSW-105-02-S-S-RA has a wide range of resistance and performance. It runs in temperatures of -50°C to +125°C and ensures excellent electrical contact without any risks.
