The STR-A6079M is a self-oscillating high-frequency switching regulator consisting of an integrated circuit controller, power MOSFETs and protective devices, which are designed for use in low-power applications requiring higher precision and higher efficiency.

The STR-A6079M is part of the Power Management and Integrated Circuits (PMIC) family – specifically AC DC Converters, Offline Switchers..

It is capable of providing up to 5A of continuous output current with a maximum input voltage of 40V and output voltage of as low as 0.6V.
