The SUS102415B is a multi-output digital DC-DC converter with an integrated step-down ultrafast-transient voltage regulator (UFTVR) capable of delivering up to 15A of regulated current. It comes in a wide variety of package types, including a integrated stack with both the DC-DC converter and the UFTVR on a single IC, as well as in different sizes such as SO16, QFN16, or BGA19 packages.The SUS102415B can be used in a wide range of applications such as automotive, industrial, test and measurement, distributed power systems, smart energy management, medical, and solar power systems. The device is capable of delivering up to 15A of regulated current with a high efficiency up to 95% to support current hungry loads. With its multi-output design, it can also be used to power multiple system blocks while still maintaining precise voltage regulation.The SUS102415B utilizes synchronous rectification, smart gate drive, and an integrated soft-start technology to reduce start-up current surges. It also has an integrated Ultrafast Transient Voltage Regulator (UFTVR) which is capable of providing transient voltage protection. This feature allows the device to protect sensitive inputs from overcurrent and overvoltage events.The SUS102415B uses a two-stage power flow to provide maximum efficiency at all power levels. The device includes a regulated current mode control PWM for smooth current flow, and an on-chip state machine to handle the various functions.The SUS102415B also has several additional features such as programmable output voltage, input OVP, output OVP, short circuit protection, temperature monitoring, adjustable soft-start time, and current limitation.
