The SY88349NDLMG is one of a series of special purpose linear amplifiers from Murata Electronics North America. The SY88349NDLMG is a dual-channel, rail-to-rail input operational amplifier designed for both general purpose audio and instrumentation applications. With an impressive slew rate of 75V/us, a gain bandwidth product of 15MHz, and a power-supply voltage of +6 to +36V, the SY88349NDLMG offers the performance required to support multiple signal chain requirements.The SY88349NDLMG combines the needs of general purpose audio, instrumentation and automotive applications into a single chip with wide voltage range, wide temperature range, and low input offset current and voltage. The SY88349NDLMG features a rail-to-rail input and output stage, enabling the designer to reach wide dynamic range applications.The SY88349NDLMG is an ideal choice for audio and instrumentation applications that require high resolution, low distortion analog signals over a wide voltage range. From medical sensors, to automotive audio, to lightweight portable devices and more, the SY88349NDLMG meets the requirements of these challenging applications, while delivering exceptional performance.The SY88349NDLMG operates in two modes: separate-supply mode and single-supply mode. In the separate-supply mode, the SY88349NDLMG can operate with a range of +6 to + 36V and power down to 0V. In the single-supply mode, the input and output signals must be centered at the midpoint of the supply voltage range. When operating in the single-supply mode, the supply voltage must be greater than 6.5V for correct operation.The input of the SY88349NDLMG has a common-mode voltage range from -0.3 to +5 volts, extending from the negative rail to the positive rail. The input differential impedance is very low at 2K Ohm and the input bias current is low with variation of only 3uA over temperature. The wide input stage of the SY88349NDLMG allows for a wide dynamic range and allows the user to keep the signal linear at higher levels.The output stage of the SY88349NDLMG allows for a wide output swing range of 0 to 12V even when the supply voltage is limited to 6V. The output power supply rejection ratio (PSRR) is 78dB, allowing the user to keep the signal nice and clean at the output.The internal architecture of the SY88349NDLMG includes two transconductance amplifier stages, each with a dominant frequency roll-off of 1.3MHz. The 85dB open-loop voltage gain of the SY88349NDLMG allows for very precise control and form of the signal. The wide frequency response of the SY88349NDLMG makes it ideal for a variety of applications, from general purpose audio to instrumentation.The SY88349NDLMG also features enhanced shutdown capabilities, allowing the user to control the output power quickly and accurately. The user can control the output power with a simple logic high or low voltage applied to the shutdown pin.The SY88349NDLMG’s wide range of capabilities and support for a variety of applications provides a high-performance, cost-effective alternative to traditional amplifiers. With the SY88349NDLMG, designers can easily implement powerful, reliable and cost-effective solutions for a variety of applications.
