Working Principle

The working principle of a circuit breaker is based on the principle of electromechanical thermal-magnetic cutting. When the contact gap temperature reaches a certain critical value, the magnetic field causes the mechanical release of the contact, thereby breaking the circuit and cutting off power.

In order to protect the circuit, the T11-2-5.00A-01-10AL-V circuit breaker is equipped with adjustable instantaneous temperature tripping and overload current tripping operating mechanisms. These mechanisms ensure current is monitored and in the event of fault conditions the circuit breaker is activated.
