Tantalum-polymer capacitors (also known as Ta-poly capacitors) are divided into two types: solid tantalum capacitors and tantalum-polymer hybrid capacitors. Both of these types are available with an encapsulation of organic Epoxy Methyl Methacrylate, bearing and epoxidized polyoxymethylene (EPOM) or polyphenylene oxide (PCPB).
