Tantalum - Polymer CapacitorsTantalum polymer capacitors, referred to as T540D337M003AH8605, are a type of capacitor constructed from a porous anode made from tantalum, with a surface layer of titanium dioxide. These capacitors provide superior performance for applications requiring high ripple current, low ESR (equivalent series resistance), high capacitance density and high power density.Tantalum capacitors are mostly used in systems requiring high capacitance and low voltage ratings, such as digital home theater systems, cellular phones, digital imaging products, and computers. Other uses include low-noise power supplies, vehicle electronics, medical instrumentation, hand-held electronic devices, and automotive systems. Typical applications include digital audio processing, analog and digital signal processing, power conditioning, medical instrumentation, and automotive electronic control.The T540D337M003AH8605 capacitors have a working voltage of 6.3 volts and are common in high performance applications where a large amount of space is needed with minimal heat generated. They have an operating temperature range of -55 to +125 degree Celsius and can store a maximum of up to 200volts. These capacitors also feature a low Equivalent Series Resistance (ESR), high current ripple ability, and long cycle life.
