Tantalum-Polymer capacitors or Ta-Po capacitors are an electrochemical device comprising an anode material of tantalum and a conductive cathode material made of a conductive polymer gel as the electrolyte. The combo gives the capacitor a combination of superior properties such as high power density, excellent low ESR, and low impedance. It has very low self-inductance, low internal losses and fast transient response making it ideal for power electronic systems.
The T541X476K030DH8610 is a high-reliability polymer tantalum capacitor available in the industry with its AEC-Q200 approval. Capable of operation with a temperature range of -55ºC to 125ºC, it is constructed with a MnO2 encapsulated anode and a conductive-polymer cathode. It is also designed with internal pre-formed mechanical stress relief and a special electrode which is curved and formed by special manufacturing practices.
