The TA-16.0972MDD-T is a 2.0GHz crystal oscillator designed for high stability applications. This oscillator utilizes a low noise temperature-compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO) for precise operation. This TCXO is able to achieve a very tight stability of within an exceptionally wide temperature range. The TA-16.0972MDD-T can be used in applications requiring precise frequency control up to a high frequency range—such as in Wi-Fi, cellular base station, or GPS navigation systems.

Working Principle

The TA-16.0972MDD-T is an ultra-high stability oscillator using a packaged quartz resonator to precisely generate a frequency. The quartz resonator is mounted directly onto the die and also includes a temperature compensating circuit to ensure the signal remains stable over a wide temperature range. The TA-16.0972MDD-T is temperature compensated frequency that has a precise operating temperature range of -55°C to +100°C.
