TA-22.5792MCD-T is a Temperature Compensated Crystal Oscillator (TCXO) module that works with an oscillator frequency of 22.5792MHz. This module is designed to be used in applications that require precise and reliable timing such as WLAN, GSM, EDGE, GPRS, Internet, and other wireless networks. The TCXO module is also used in WCDMA, GPS, Bluetooth, ISM, and Bluetooth.The TA-22.5792MCD-T module has a TTL-compatible output, a half-sine wave available output voltage of 3.3V or 5.0V, a low-power consumption of 20mA @ 3.3V, and a maximum power consumption of 1.2W. It is also RoHS compliant and lead-free.The working principle of the TA-22.5792MCD-T module is based on the crystal oscillator circuit. In this circuit, a crystal oscillator is used to generate an electrical signal by applying a voltage at exact harmonic frequencies. The crystal oscillator consists of a piezoelectric crystal resonator with two electrical connections, a quartz crystal and a capacitive plate, which are connected to a DC voltage source and an AC voltage source.The quartz crystal used in the TCXO module is a piezoelectric material, which means it can expand and contract when an electric field is applied. As the crystal is heated, the crystal vibrates at a frequency determined by its physical properties. The frequency is kept constant and is unaffected by temperature fluctuations. The quartz crystal material is therefore well suited for digital applications requiring a highly accurate and reliable frequency.The frequency of the signal is determined by the physical characteristics of the crystal, its size and shape, but also by the physical characteristics of the circuit components. These components include the varactor diode, the resonator and the capacitors. The varactor diode is used to control the voltage applied to the resonator, in order to obtain a stable signal frequency. The voltage applied to the resonator is also affected by the capacitors, whose values are precisely chosen to respect the desired frequency.The TA-22.5792MCD-T module is a highly reliable and accurate TCXO module and is suitable for applications where precise and reliable frequency control are required.
